祥云化工氢氧化镁工程竣工投产

锣鼓喧天，彩旗飘扬。4月29日，祥云化工年产2万吨氢氧化镁工程竣工投产，这是企业依靠自身力量自主研发的新产品，不仅标志着祥云化工调整产品结构进程又向前迈出了重要的一步，也是企业大力发展循环经济、建设生态祥云取得的最新成果，为打造全国工业旅游型企业奠定了良好的发展基础。

祥云化工年产2万吨氢氧化镁工程总投资约1.4亿元，于2011年12月6日开工建设；项目达产后，预计实现销售收入8000万元，利税1675万元。虽然该产品开发、建设及后期生产费用昂贵，但是5年内即可收回全部投资。如果该产品能达到纳米级，那么将为祥云化工创造巨大的经济效益，也为早日实现“十二五”百亿目标发挥着重要的推动作用。

据了解，该产品不仅广泛应用于化工、环保等工业领域，还可用于电子行业、医药、砂糖的精制，作保温材料以及制造其它镁盐产品。特别是氢氧化镁阻燃剂被世界称为新型、绿色、环境友好阻燃剂，被广泛应用于橡胶、塑料中，不但阻燃性能好，而且无毒、无害，同时还能提高被添加材料的加工性能和机械性能。

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW

Appearance: white solid.

Potential Health Effects
Eye: Causes eye irritation.
Skin: Causes skin irritation. May be harmful if absorbed through the skin.
Ingestion: May cause gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. May be harmful if swallowed. Excessive amounts of magnesium may cause central nervous system depression, respiratory paralysis, and cardiac
Inhalation: Causes respiratory tract irritation. May be harmful if inhaled.
Chronic: Repeated exposure may cause kidney damage and digestive tract abnormalities.

Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid imme diately.
Skin: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical aid if irritation develops or persists.
Ingestion: If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water. Get medical aid immediately.
Inhalation: Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid if cough or other symptoms appear.
Notes to Physician: Treat symptomatically and supportively.
Antidote: Intravenous calcium chloride(10 to 20 cc of 5% solution, diluted if desirable with isotonic saline) counteracts the toxic actions of magnesium. Also, physostigimine 0.5 to 1.0 mg subcutaneously.
